Il Rifugio, Nuoro
This restaurant from Francesco Nanu is a homage to the terroir-honouring template laid down by his father Silverio. The menu is based on antique pastoral recipes in the 1980s so its traditional and delicious. You will never have had pasta like it.
Phi Beach
This seaside club has private beaches, VIP areas, the intimate Rock Club terrace and a restaurant that serves creative cocktails and allows you to dine in pure gourmet style. It is also a superb underground club with world class DJs playing like Claptone, Bob Sinclar, Jayda G, Black Coffee, DJ Tennis, Carl Cox, Bora Uzer, Folamour, Tale Of Us, Fideles, Themba, Peggy Gou, Purple Disco Machine, Bedouin, Diplo, Blond:ish, Fatboy Slim, Jamie Jones and many more. A real paradise.
Sa Nassa
This restaurant makes use of the local Malvasia, a slightly sweet, fragrant white, in almost all of its dishes. It's the best in the Bosa area and is hidden down a gorgeous alleyway and run by a father and son. Cooking doesn't get much more authentic.
Luxury at its finest
Costa Smeralda or The Emerald Coast are breathtaking coastlines, some of the best in Europe in fact. They offer something for all types - golfing stays, nightclub visits, stylish bars, spas, rural farm stays, and plenty more. For that reason it is a hotspot for celebrities and sports people who love to access the rich array of leisure offerings, all under a baking sun.
Sports
For the active types, there is plenty to do in Sardinia from horse riding to sail, windsurfing to rock climbing, yachting to hiking in the rugged mountains, swimming in the clear blue sea to playing golf or fishing. All with great accommodation and endlessly great places to eat after a hard day at it.
