One of California’s homebred super groups, Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO), is currently in the midst of their 9th annual Tour d‘Amour. During 2015’s Tour d’Amour, ALO is set to visit 10 California cities and one in Nevada, delivering 11 shows in total to their beloved fans. Accompanying ALO on their west coast run are T Sisters and Fruition. T Sisters will be present for every performance on the tour, while Fruition with join for the group on February 27th for a special show celebrating the 10th anniversary of ALO’s Fly Between Home album at The Fillmore in San Francisco.
In addition to their people-pleasing 11-show run, ALO is also bringing smiles to children in need as some of the earnings from the tour will go to a non-profit that is geared towards providing art-integrated education for kids. San Francisco’s Creative Arts Charter School will the fortunate organization selected to receive proceeds from ALO’s 9th annual Tour d’Amour.
The Tour d’Amour kicked off in West Hollywood on February 12th and has been running strong since the start. There is still time to catch ALO on their famed tour, but you must secure your tickets ASAP. ALO is also throwing a special matinee performance for kids and parents alike on Saturday, February 28th beginning at 3pm at The Fillmore. From playing excellent music, to celebrating a decade plus of raging together, and donating time and money to make others happy, ALO is absolutely crushing it!
