Who’s ready for tacos, tequila and techno? Dates for the annual BPM Festival were announced today, and we couldn’t be more excited about this Mexican mainstay’s 10-year anniversary! Each year, more than 70,000 international fans from 70+ countries trek to the house and techno mecca of Playa Del Carmen for 10 days of sun-soaked beach parties, steamy club nights and every kind of pop-up event in between.
Remember when Richie Hawtin and Dubfire played a slamming B2B in front of one of the city’s most popular taco stands? Or perhaps you caught The Martinez Brothers and Art Department bringing the sun up at BPM’s first ever Jungle venue on the second Saturday last year? These are the surprises that make BPM more than just your run of the mill electronic festival. It’s a one-of-a-kind, cultural experience! Plus cheap tacos! OMG, so many cheap tacos.
BPM 2017 will take place January 6-15, and super early bird 10-day passes go on sale June 1 via their official website. Get your year off to a slammin’ start by snagging one of these wristbands while they’re caliente! Don’t you want to hit the white sandy beaches and party with some of the world’s most hardcore music lovers, and not to mention 400 of the genre’s most celebrated artists? The official BPM 2017 lineup announcement will drop later this fall, but with a track record of attracting names like Guy Gerber, John Digweed, Luciano, Mark Knight, Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones, Justin Martin and countless others, you know it’s gonna be good.
Check-out last year’s Thank You Video below and see you in The Playa in 2017!
