Traveling music festivals are a rare breed in 2018, but one brand continues to bring top-notch events to markets often overlooked by entertainment giants. Breakaway Music Festival, which just announced the lineup for two of their four remaining stops: Columbus OH and Grand Rapids Michigan.
After a successful stint in Dallas back in April, Columbus is set to receive a fresh roster full of EDM and rap, featuring huge names like Kaskade and Migos as well as rising stars like Chris Lake and Flatbush Zombies.
2018 will also see the Columbus stop of Breakaway expanded to three days. A bold move considering many festivals are either downsizing or disbanding in the face of a changing market, but Breakaway has already garnered a loyal fan base in its relatively short lifespan.
People in the Midwest are thrilled to have a sizable festival to call their own, especially with Breakaway Grand Rapids happening the same weekend as Columbus.
Breakaway Grand Rapids will feature an equally impressive lineup with ODESZA, Khalid, Jaden Smith, and more.
Stay tuned for info on Breakaway's remaining stops in Nashville TN and Charlotte NC.
Breakaway Columbus will take place August 24-26 at Mapfre Stadium, and Breakaway Grand Rapids will take place August 24-25 at Belknap Park.
