With the 15th annual Sasquatch music festival right around the corner, it’s time to get excited about this year’s festival lineup, and, get your tickets ASAP! Taking place Memorial Day weekend—May 27th-30th—at The Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington, this 4-day camping festival has a captivating lineup that has the potential to make each day better than the last.
There are too many great artists to mention, however, some of the artists featured in the Sasquatch 2016 lineup include Florence and The Machine, Sufjan Stevens, The Cure, Alabama Shakes, Disclosure, Grimes, Jaime XX, Savages and Saint Motel. Historically speaking, Sasquatch festival features genres ranging all the way from indie rock to hip-hop and funk to EDM. There are even comedy acts taking place throughout the long weekend at The Gorge.
Sasquatch festival has been around since 2002, when concert promoter Adam Zacks saw a need for a regional festival in the Pacific Northwest. While the festival has taken place over the span of two weekends in years past, it returned to its roots as a Memorial Day weekend festival in 2014.
