If you haven’t seen The Glitch Mob crush festivals and venues around the world this summer, you’ll get another opportunity to see the electronic trio do what they do best on their North American Fall Tour. After kicking things off in Austin, Texas at one of the South’s most popular music festivals, Austin City Limits, the boys will work their way across the states to showcase their brand-new stage setup.
Chicago is fortunate enough to be one the first big venues to witness the new array of instruments and visual candies as The Glitch Mob plays the Aragon Ballroom in the city’s Uptown neighborhood on October 17th. With a hand from the same creative mind (Martin Phillip of Bionic League) that worked on the setups of entertainment icons like Daft Punk, Kanye West, Kaskade and Deadmau5, the crew is ready to wow audiences everywhere with an out-of-this-world visual display.
As far as sound quality goes, The Glitch Mob is working with the sound gurus at Name That Machine to deliver an auditory experience that is not quite like any other. Appropriately named the Blade, Name That Machine, constructed a musical masterpiece specifically for the boys. Both visually and sonically advanced, the performances will surely blow the minds of everyone who attends.
Just this year, The Glitch Mob released their new LP, Love Death Immortality and has been raging their hot new tracks all over the festival scene and beyond. The group even got one of their tracks of the album into the soundtrack of 2014 blockbuster, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, staring Josh Brolin.
Whether it’s at a festival, inside a venue, or on a Hollywood soundtrack, The Glitch Mob as made 2014 one of the biggest year’s of their career. After ending their North American tour at New York’s famous Hammerstein Ballroom, the group is headed back over seas to take part in some European fun at festivals like Reading and Leeds.
