ATLANTA – April 27, 2014 –CounterPoint organizers have suspended the festival due to heavy rain and inclement weather.

Festival officials are continuing to coordinate with Floyd and Bartow County officials to monitor weather conditions and determine when performances will resume. Festival goers can remain on the park grounds during the delay, but have been advised to return to their vehicles.

“Our first priority is always the safety of our fans, staff and artists,” said Jonathan Fordin, Partner of MCP Presents, the promoter behind CounterPoint. “We regret having to suspend any show, but safety always comes first. We’ll be back soon.”
