We are just weeks away from the 3rd installment of CRSSD Festival in San Diego this March 5 & 6! Since CRSSD’s inaugural appearance last March, this underground/indie/deep house festival has made waves among festival-goers across the nation. In fact, CRSSD had such success its first time around, curators at FNRGRS CRSSD and Goldenvoice (same curators of Coachella and Stagecoach) through a fall version of CRSSD Festival in 2015.
More like an urban block party as oppose to a large scale festival, this one-of-a-kind event is bringing top tier artists to rage the CRSSD Festival 2016 lineup. Artists featured on the CRSSD 2016 lineup include Odesza, Chet Faker, Gesaffelstein, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Tale Of Us, Gorgon City (Live + DJ Set), Claude VonStroke, Green Velvet, Ardalan, Will Clarke, Tycho, Hot Since 82, Damian Lazarus and many more.

Hosted in the beautiful Waterfront Park in the middle of downtown San Diego, CRSSD Festival is the perfect setting for 10,000 or so, 21+-aged adults to dance and vibe to great music. With the Maritime Museum on one side, the towering city administration building on the other, and the San Diego Bay view dotted with palm trees, there is plenty to see besides the stages. Craft beers and local food vendors are also scattered throughout the venue to sample San Diego’s fine cuisines.
In addition to the 3 stages consisting of the Ocean View, City Steps and The Palms, there are also the fountain jets that cascade into ankle-deep pools that you can splash around in. Without any fancy art installations or scheduled activities much outside of the musical acts, CRSSD Festival is all about featuring amazing music in a beautiful venue.
Getting to CRSSD Fest is very simple; with multiple hotels right across the street, you have the option to stay within walking distance of the festival. Andaz Hotel San Diego is also offering a deal where festival-goers get free entry into the after-parties being hosted at the hotel. After-parties will be announced in the coming weeks and ticket prices are rising soon so be sure to grab your CRSSD Festival tickets ASAP. CRSSD Fest 2016 tickets are currently going online for $165 for a weekend pass and $80 per day. Tickets will go for $95 per day at the entrance. CRSSD Fest is also one of the world’s only Non-Smoking festivals, so leave your cigs and other smoking devices behind when you go (cigarettes, e-cigs, and vaporizers are prohibited).
