Curators behind Shambhala Music Festival dropped their impressive lineup two weeks ago, and today marks their first individual stage lineup announcement. As it stands, the lineup for the Shambhala AMPhitheatre Stage looks as though acts like hip-hop producer, The Gaslamp Killer, and, Mad Decent’s own, Troy Boi, will be topping the list of reasons to visit the Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia during the August 5th-8th weekend.
This year’s group of organizers for the Shambhala lineup have carefully curated the weekend’s sets presenting a hip-hop infused lineup one night, as well as, a full night of performances from UK artists including Plastician, Flava D, DJ Q and Sorrow. Digital and vinyl label Saturate Records will also present their showcase on the AMPhitheatre Stage, featuring the artists Conrank, The Originalz, VNDMG, Bios and B.O.A.T.S – a collection of sets that Shambhala producers promise will be the “weirdest and dirtiest daytime show ever witnessed.” Okay, they’ve definitely piqued our interest!
The remaining Shambhala Stage lineups will be announced later this week in the following order:
Tuesday, April 12th: Village
Wednesday, April 13th: Grove
Thursday, April 14th: Fractal Forest
Friday, April 15th: Living Room
Saturday, April 16th: Pagoda
