Since 2008, Del McCoury, a living legend in the bluegrass community, has presented one of the worlds best festivals in it’s genre. Located in Cumberland Maryland, at the Allegany Fairgrounds, Del Fest draws fans from near and far. Past Lineups have included acts such as Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon, Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, Bela Fleck, Sam Bush and many more. The picturesque landscape along the appalachian mountains brings great vibes for a friendly crowd.
The 2015 Lineup has several returners including The Old Crow Medicine Show, Trampled By Turtles, Yonder Mountain String Band and Hot Rize. A great addition to the list of worthy bands is an alt country/americana quintet out of North Lake Tahoe California, called The Dead Winter Carpenters.
