Halloween is, without a doubt, the best holiday of them all. You can disagree, but you’d be wrong. In one week, we celebrate the eerie...the macabre...the revelry that All Hallows Eve embodies. This year the SoCal wizard crew known as Desert Hearts is stepping up the Halloween game with their inaugural Haunted Hearts rager at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
The Desert Hearts ritual rat-pack: Mikey Lion, Marbs, Lee Reynolds and Porky will be slinging the jams and bewitching their fans all night long (til 4AM!) on October 31st. Their collective magic will be bolstered by the sorcery of the always-mystical, Damian Lazarus, a legend in his own right for his vision and execution of the modern musical ceremony. Lazarus potion for parties like Get Lost in Miami and Day Zero in Tulum has spellbound crowds across the globe, and his wickedly beautiful 4-hour sunrise set this year at Desert Hearts Festival was no different.
Fans of Desert Hearts parties need no excuse to get out their headiest costumes, as creative and inclusive vibes abound at their Funktions...but like, this is Halloween, this is Halloween. The Desert Hearts crew and its fanbase will be pulling out all the stops in terms of decor, costumes, and energy on this brilliant holiday. And, for all you industry cats, fret not: Halloween is a Wednesday this year. Come out and ring in the end of "Sober October" with Desert Hearts and Damian Lazarus.
