On Saturday, August 15th, the Dirtybird Records crew led by founder Claude VonStroke marched in Chicago with an arsenal of beats to unload on a crowd of bass-craving fans as they eagerly took the front rails at the Dirtybird BBQ. Amongst VonStroke’s digital platoon included the skills of J. Phlip, Kill Frenzy, Shiba San, and Justin Martin, whom made an admirable last-minute appearance after a notice that he was forced canceled due to health issues–what a trooper! To top it all off, VonStroke sent for the big gun, DJ Premier, to end the night with a bang. DJ Premier did what he did best and dropped the classics via vinyl for everyone’s amusement.
