Well “Campers,” the day has finally arrived—the Dirtybird Campout 2016 lineup and Dirtybird Campout tickets have been released! That’s right, the feeling of getting to play your favorite campground activities with your absolute favorite Dirtybird Records’ artists is getting that much closer with today’s news. In addition to artists under the Dirtybird Records label, Campers can look forward to mingling with a variety of Camp Counselors featured within this year’s Dirtybird Campout lineup.
From acts like Reggie Watts (formally of Comedy Bang Bang and CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden), Machinedrum, Paranoid London from you guested it, London, plus, California-bred and Seattle-based producer Dave Pezzner aka Pezzner, as well as, Germaan Brigante who proves to be a wild card with his collective of samples and sounds that derives from classic rap to those of his native-land across seas in Spain, this year’s Dirtybird Campout lineup offers Campers a bouquet of beats fashioned from around the globe and set to be directed right into your ear canals for optimum raging while on-site.
When it comes to team Dirtybird, this year’s lineup features Barclay Crenshaw (aka Dirtybird Records boss, Claude VonStroke), Dirtybird Records co-founder Christian Martin, the always-inspiring J. Phlip, with Shiba San, Worthy, Catz & Dogz, Billy Kenny, Sacha Robotti, Kill Frenzy Walker & Royce, newcomer Sage Armstrong and more! Keep in mind this is only the initial Dirtybird camp lineup, a laundry list of talent is still to follow.
The second installment will unfold this October 7th-9th (technically until Oct. 10th at 10AM sharp) and return to it original home in Silverado, California (only about an hour and a half from L.A.). The venue is one of the most intimate venues in the festival circuit, making great for close walks to all campsites (pending on how much fun you’ve had at the festival at one of the two main stages and/or the surrounding festival grounds playing some classic childhood games like Tug of War, Kickball, Dodge Ball, a Scavenger Hunt, etc., the walk from the farthest tent area to the stage areas is 7-10 minutes, tops), which also means Dirtybird Campout 2016 tickets will sell-out.
Just recently, a Flash Sale for tickets sold through its allotment like it was nothing, so make sure you take advantage of the remaining tickets ASAP. Dirtybird Campout tickets currently on-sale and range from $165 for a 3-day pass, $300 for a Backstage Party Pass (includes festival admission and an assortment of benefits from backstage access to BBQ tickets), BBQ tickets for $20, Car Camping Passes for $70, RV Passes for $160, plus, Camp Kodiak EZ Camping Packages that include optimal camping logistics (pretty much behind the main festival grounds a stone’s throw from the stage) and all the goodies one could image; Camp Kodiak starts at $999 for a single bed and only $199 more for a 2-bed package. You can even purchase tickets for Roundtrip Transportation from LAX to the festival grounds and back.
Whether it’s the plethora of games we loved when we were young that have been doctored with a healthy dose of Dirtybird, the stacked Dirtybird lineup, the variety of Dirtybird Camp tickets or the venue and vibes that will be flourishing until October 10th at 10AM, Dirtybird Campout is ready to offer an experience that will surely bring the same carefree joys we had when we were young to each and every Camper. Did I mention there’s a Boat Race with Claude and the infamous Talent Show is returning for another epic saga in Dirtybird Campout history?! That’s right, so get ready to earn those merit badges and go all out once again as Dirtybird Campout is sure to light the flames under the marshmallows and under the decks!
