EDC UK 2016 is Finally Upon Us!

The second Saturday of July (July 9th) is bound to be a special one as dance music lovers across the UK gather for Electric Daisy Carnival’s (EDC) next installment just north of London. EDC United Kingdom (EDC UK) is set to revisit Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire for the fourth year in a row at the National Bowl and will provide visitors with world famous acts across four stages, plus, plenty of visual enticement.

This Saturday will also mark the unveiling of the brand-new Crystal Village Stage (aka the Kinetic Field); sporting several jaw-dropping features ranging from gushing waterfalls to 400 tiles of video magic, and, a fog-breathing dragon (because a regular fog machine is just not going to cut it at an Insomniac event). The Crystal Village Stage will be an awe-inspiring display of 28 lasers, 15 CO2 cannons, plus colored flames that cover the entire spectrum of the rainbow; all to presided over by EDC’s signature colossal owls.

The jaw-dropping setup will be accompanied with tunes by the main headliners from the EDC UK 2016 lineup.  Featured acts in the Kinetic Field include Avicii (last EDC performance ever), Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Oliver Heldens, Robin Schulz, Martin Solveig, Martin Garrix and the legendary, Eric Prydz.

Headliners within the EDC UK lineup set to take the Bassrush Stage (aka Circuit Grounds) include Andy C, Goldie, Caspa B2B Rusko, Pendulum (DJ Set), Noisia, Sigma (DJ Set), Roni Size and Friction.  Across the way, Duke Dumont (DJ set), DJ EZ, Galantis and Lost Frequencies will be dropping the bass at the Neon Garden (aka Pepsi Max).

The fourth and final stage is called the Dreamstate Stage (aka Cosmic Meadow) and is set to feature the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella, Andy Moor and Markus Schulz.

As always, EDC sets the bar high with its thrilling carnival rides, impressive art displays, and of course, the extravagantly dressed performers, whose fabulous costumes are nothing short of show-stopping. EDC brings to the iconic site its quintessential wonderland setup where tens of thousands of music lovers will merge under the electric sky.
