Back for its sixth year, Envision Festival 2016 is set to yet again grace the shores of Uvita, Costa Rica this February 25-28th.
Currently the Envision 2016 lineup includes Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ set), Beats Antique, Elephant Revival, M.A.N.D.Y, and Midnite (currently touring under the name Akae Beka), and returning for his sixth time, Random Rab. In addition to this delicious blend of psychedelic, house-fusion, and reggae artists, additional musical acts include Grouch, Spoonbill, Dimond Saints, The Human Experiment, Beat Fatigue, Bedouin, Lee Reynolds (of Desert Hearts), Tara Brooks, and Atish. Envision Festival will also feature local music acts such as Melissa O, Ivan Cespedes, Patterns, and Sonambulo.
Envision is dancing to the same beat that so many music festivals are today; emphasizing cultural acceptance, community values, and the transformation of the soul. The fest will be implementing the new yoga and movement village with world-renowned yoga instructors, workshop facilitators, and educators. David Wolfe, wellness expert, and Rachel Brathen, yoga instructor and motivational speaker, will be leading a number of these transformational experiences for festival-goers. There will be workshops presented by skilled herbalist 7Song, creator of the New Paradigm Astrology Cooperative-Kaypacha, and Stephen Brooks, the co-founder of Envision.
Envision is a celebration of human potential, sustainable life, spirituality, and appreciation of our planet. The festival blends a truly excellent combination of musical performances, immersive and educational classes, and a number of movement practices that will nourish the soul. With the launch of their first ever set of Educational Retreats, which will be held before, throughout, and after the festival, festival-goers will have five opportunities to replenish the mind, body, and soul within their Envision experience.
Retreats include: ‘Grow Your Roots’ and ‘Embody’ (February 19-24); a Jungle Herbal Field Clinic (February 15-29); Shamanik Yoga Immersion with David Wolfe (February 29-March 2); & Reboot Camp with Dr. Cory (February 29-March 6).
With accommodations for people of all ages, as well as a on-site Unite-I Project for underserved youth, Envision really has it all. Envision Festival stems beyond just the musical performance experience, but urges powerful change in all.
