The newest additions to Desert Hearts Records, Gettoblaster & MADVILLA, have just released their new two-track EP 'Tear Da Club Up'.
The EP delivers on its name in including two pumping, dancefloor-ready tracks. The title track features vocals from vocalist Missy. While the lyrics are entirely comprised of the track's title the artists prove that a lot can be done with a little in employing different transpositions, samples, and uses of the vocals. Combine that with a thumping kick, enticing bassline, and futuristic other-worldly sounds and the track is almost impossible not to groove along to. 'The Ground' is the other track in the album and seamlessly fits as the second track in the EP, maintaining a high level of energy with more great vocal samples and tech sounds.
Influenced by the sounds of Chicago and Detroit's underground scenes, Gettoblaster have meshed in their own modern day production to form a captivating sound they can call their own style. That style has caught the attention of Patrick Topping, The Martinez Brothers, Dennis Ferrer, Simone Dunmore, and Solomun just to name some of the many. MADVILLA is a rising artist originally from Southern California and currently residing in the UK. He has landed releases on labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Food Music, Avotre, CUFF and Seven Dials and has gotten support on his tracks from artists like Sidney Charles, Seb Zito, and Roger Sanchez.
