The fifteenth anniversary of Global Dance Festival Colorado (GDF) marks a historic change for the world-famous event. Previously, Red Rocks Amphitheatre was the proud home of GDF. The event’s popularity is the catalyst for the relocation to the Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, CO. With a maximum occupancy of 76,000 (compared to Red Rocks at just over 10,000), there’s no wonder why Global Dance Festival will be raising the bar for other music festivals to live up to.
On July 21st and 22nd, the home of the Denver Broncos will be transformed into a carnival setting with several stages featuring artists such as Excision B2B Datsik, Nero, Kaskade, Louis the Child, Crywolf, Zhu, Nero, Green Velvet, Bijou and many, many more within the Global Dance Festival lineup. Rain or shine, visitors will have access to the food truck village, free rides and arcade games, stage-side cabanas, silent disco, an art park and all vendors on-site. All in all, Sports Authority Filed has amenities that accommodate every music festival need.
Global Dance Festival will be open to the masses from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, daily. There will be parking at Sports Authority Field, and attendees are welcome to tailgate before the doors open. Global Dance Festival tickets can be found on the festival's site by visiting the link below. This is truly an experience every electronica music lover ought to be a part of, making a piece of history with dancers from all over the globe.
