Australian electronic duo, Hermitude, is gearing up for their first US tour since the group’s huge success with their previous album, Hyperpardise, which earned international praise and the title of an Australian Music Prize-winning album. One of their tracks even caught the ear of electronic giant, Flume, who remixed “Hyperparadise.” The track has been played nearly 10 million times on Soundcloud alone; rest assured, that number will keep rising as the song continues to flourish online, at concerts, and during festivals across the globe.
Hermitude’s most recent banger, “Through The Roof” featuring Young Tapz, combines an array of genres with a horn sample that pierces the soul. “Through The Roof” and a multitude of other future classics can be found on their new album which is set to drop this May.
Hermitude’s US tour kicks off in Washington, DC on March 11th at the U Street Music Hall and will run strong until they depart the US for Toronto. Before hitting Canada on March 28th, the group will thump their way through the states, playing almost every night for nearly three weeks. The remix of 2014 remixes is below for your listening pleasure, but make sure to see Hermitude live as they play concerts and festivals worldwide in 2015.
