High Sierra Music Festival has been a staple of the festival scene for quite some time. This year, the festival is celebrating 25 years strong and doing so with one of their most prolific and diverse lineups to date. Taking during the prime this year’s Fourth of July celebration, the festival is happening July 2nd – July 5th at the fairgrounds in Quincy, California.
Headlining the High Sierra 2015 lineup is The String Cheese Incident who will be raging four sets throughout the entirety of the weekend. Joining Cheese is a daunting list of acts that is sure to instill FOMO in anyone not in attendance. Acts like Umphrey’s McGee, Galactic, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, John Butler Trio, Lotus, The Word, Jeff Austin Band, ALO, The Wood Brothers, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Papadosio, The Motet, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Marco Benevento and so many more, make up the meat of the High Sierra Music Festival lineup.
High Sierra Music Festival General Admission passes are on sale for right around $275 and the VIP version, called the festivALL pass, is going for $775. VIP grants the ticket holder access to private viewing areas at shows, early entry into the festival, access to all of the late night shows, a festival poster and shirt, additional access to the festivALL Lounge with private bar and some free drink tickets. VIP seems to be the way to go for this festy, there are quite a bit of incentives.
High Sierra has a long history of continually producing quality festivals and amazing experiences for patrons. This year will undoubtedly follow suit and is definitely not one to be missed!
