Curators behind III Points Music, Art and Technology Festival in Miami, Florida, have released their all-star lineup by day for your viewing pleasure. As it stands, the III Points 2017 lineup includes Gorillaz, Richie Hawtin (performing CLOSE), RÜFÜS DU SOL, Nicolas Jaar, The XX, Mark Ronson (creator of the hit song "Uptown Funk" featuring Bruno Mars) vs. Kevin Parker (frontman of Tame Impala), Bonobo (live), Perfume Genius, Danny Brown, Lane 8 and many, many more.
This chapter of the festival's career will truly be something special due to last year's unforeseen occurrence of events when Hurrican Matthew stormed into town. Despite some artists were forced to cancel last-minute, iii Points rose to the challenge and still managed to crush it in the face of adversity by putting on a solid festival with the resources that remained. Another reason this chapter is going to be one of the best in the festival's history is due to the AMAZING III Points lineup.
Some of this year's notable performances include: the Gorillaz, as it will be their first time performing in Florida (fun fact: the Gorillaz have only played 60 times in their career as a band). Richie Hawtin is due to play one of his creative masterpieces known as CLOSE - Spontaneity & Synchronicity. It will be Perfume Genius' only performance in the state of Florida while on-tour, after dropping his raved about album, No Shape. Attendees can also check-out Brian Eno's sure-to-be-dope audio installation, The Ship.
