Taking place August 26-28 at its new home in the Atlanta Motor Speedway, in you guessed it, Atlanta, Georgia, Imagine Music Festival, is set to combine stellar music acts with some of the best visual production festival-goers have seen yet, as festival curators at Iris Presents have solidified details surrounding production for “The Imaginarium” and AQUA’s 3D Water Holograms!
That’s right, Imagine 2016 will entertain all five senses as The Imaginarium, a concept inspired by the City of Atlantis, comes together for the masses. The imaginarium offers festival-goers the opportunity to get down for three full days while surrounded by circus troupes, musicians, dancers and rare visuals. The Center of Consciousness, one of the main concepts behind the Imaginarium, will offer attendees a chance to elevate their minds and bodies as knowledge of ancient teachings like Yoga, Meditation and Qi Gong is passed down.
Glenn and Madeline Goodhand, founders of Iris Presents, touched on the benefits of the concept by stating “With your hearts fulfilled by the music we want to serve your mind as well. This year you will find more transformational arts and workshops that complement the music and forge a personal journey to something deeper.”
The distinctive festival experience is gaining momentum quickly. Last year, Imagine 2016 brought out 26,000 people to the former location, Historic Fourth Ward Park. This year, curators are anticipating a much larger crowd, as the Atlanta Motor Speedway has a capacity that can handle 100,000 people each day. The new location features grassy fields, parking and RV spaces with full hookups.
When it comes to the Imagine 2016 experience, Glenn and Madeline commented “Imagine fans expect us to deliver an exceptional experience, and we will not disappoint. We aim to provide every attendee an environment where beautiful memories will be made, that will last forever.”
Perhaps one of the most captivating visuals at Imagine this year is going to be the array of 3D holograms provided by a company called AQUA. During the weekend attendees will be able to gaze at out-of-this-world visuals as they float next to artists during headlining performances. In addition to AQUA’s floating displays, other aquatic amenities at Imagine include The Imagine Beach & Splash Pool, as well as, the Ocean View VIP Deck.
Festival founders Glenn and Madeline, also added, “This year we continue the fairytale. Our aquatic experiences from misting domes, splash pool, fountains and more allow guests to become fully immersed in their environment while keeping cool.”
As far as the music is concerned, over 50 artists are included in the Imagine Music Festival lineup. The Imagine 2016 lineup features Dillon Francis, NERO, The Disco Biscuits, Steve Angello, Showtek, Excision, Benny Benassi, Borgore, Arty, DJ Hanzel, Minnesota, Ott & The All-Seeing I, Papdosio, Rain Man, Robbie Rivera, Snails, SNBRN, Thomas Jack, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Fyer, Leah Culver, Legion, Levitation Jones and many more.
Imagine 2016 tickets start at $169 for a 3-day pass. VIP Imagine Music Festival tickets are also available and include front row pit access, an elevated viewing area, an air-conditioned chill lounge, bottle service and more. Camping passes start at just $69 and range from car camping to Sky View VIP RV camping. A special ticket package by AQUA is also up for grabs (while supplies last) for only $200. Each AQUA ticket package includes a 3-day pass, an AQUA wristband and tank, plus, the company will see to it that a child in third world countries like Ghana gets a full year supply of clean water.
