We don’t have the whole skinny as to why the festival is cancelled, but you can see it plain as day on the JamBase Live Website. The inaugural year for the festival was to be held at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington. The July 5th and 6th weekend was to include STS9, Robert Plant and the Sensational Shapeshifters, Slightly Stoopid, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Railroad Earth and more. Not only is this bad news for fans of the many great artists, but also for the many JamBase fans who constantly keep up with the company for information on live music throughout the country. It can be assured that this will not be the last we see of this festival. JamBase is working hard to gain a venue that is closer to Seattle and will still have many of the original acts in the lineup.
