Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival Announces Lineup

The Fuji Rock Festival has announced their initial lineup for 2015! This legendary festival will be held July 24th – 26th at the Naeba Ski Resort, in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Fuji Rock is an annual, 3 day event, organized by Smash Japan. It is the largest outdoor music event in Japan, featuring more than 200 Japanese and international musicians. The fest is held in the mountains of Naeba (not near Mt Fuji) which means rain is often part of the proceedings, but the stunning views make up for any hardship.

Every summer thousands of people head to Fuji Rock to gorge themselves on a lavish helping of music which includes famous international acts and local performers. This festival is know to be one of the most beautiful in the world, set admits the natural beauty of the wilderness, removed from the grind of civilization. It’s one giant, non-stop party, with ten different stages are dotted throughout the forest on the mountain slopes, the largest of which can fit over 50,000 spectators.

The 2015 Fuji Rock lineup includes: Foo Fighters, Muse, The Bohicas, Catfish and The Battlement, Cero, The Districts, FKA Twigs, Galactic featuring Macy Gray, Galantis, Gesu no Kiwami Otome, Happy Mondays, Hudson Mohawke, Jenny Lewis, Johnny Marr, Motorhead, Of Monsters And Men, Ride, Ryan Adams, Sheena Ringo, Todd Rundgren, Twenty One Pilots, Yasuyuki Okamura, and more.
