Life Is Beautiful 2016 Reveals Bassnectar & Friends to Rage The Troubadour Stage!

After covering Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival last year in Las Vegas, we here at MFC are pretty stoked for the festival’s fourth year. For the uninitiated, Life Is Beautiful 2016 is a 3-day music, food, and learning festival sprawling through the shut-down streets of downtown Vegas in late September. After wandering by a giant fire-spewing praying mantis standing guard at the main gate, you can take a sonic journey between four unique stages, stroll through the food park, or catch a few guest speakers in the LIB learning series. All that, set against the glittery backdrop that is Las Vegas.

Last year’s Life Is Beautiful lineup was objectively huge: Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Imagine Dragons, a surprise full reunion of hometown heroes the Killers, and Stevie Wonder… all crossed the LIB stages. However, the Life Is Beautiful 2016 lineup has just as much potential: Mumford and Sons, J. Cole, Major Lazer, The Lumineers, The Shins, Die Antwoord and Bloc Party, to name a few-are going to be representing, with over 80 artists total. Catch headliners at the Downtown or Ambassador stages, have an intimate experience at the Huntridge, or get a taste of EDC at the covered Troubadour Stage.

“Life Is Beautiful is a festival that is so unique and inspiring in all areas of creative expression from art and music to food and learning,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “We are proud to be collaborating again and we look forward to bringing back the massive Troubadour Stage for fans to enjoy a weekend of incredible dance music performances.”

As you wander the 18 square blocks of the festival, you’ll notice dozens of buildings covered in murals from renowned streets artists, art cars borrowed from EDC, and the abandoned Town Lodge motel beckoning with its rooms-turned-art exhibits. Legendary street artist, Shepard Fairey, will also be in attendance as one of the key speakers in LIB’s learning series.

Perhaps the most impressive part of Life is Beautiful lies in the purpose latent in its name: the festival is a deliberate celebration of the things that make life great. Adding on to the mission of the continued development of the downtown area, Life is Beautiful recently announced a collaboration with Project 150 to hold a one-day festival for local Clark High School. By building relationships with the community and local businesses, Life is Beautiful continues to lay a solid foundation for the years to come.

3-day GA Life Is Beautiful tickets are only $285, while 3-day VIP tickets are $655. Shuttles will run back-and-forth routes to 8 different locations around Vegas, including three stops on the strip. Shuttle passes are $45 for the 3-day weekend. For the same price, park-and-ride passes from the World Market Center are also available.
