Baltimore native Life On Planets teams up with Brooklyn's Taylor Bense to share an idiosyncratic new single. "Glowstick" marks their first release together after signing to the esteemed dance/electronic label, Kitsuné Musique, which will be followed by a brand new EP sometime in the fall.
The two musicians put their newfound musical chemistry on full display with the sultry summer house/RnB/hip-hop fusion track, in which This Song is Sick stated, "The groove on this one is undeniable."
Of the release, Phill Celeste of Life On Planets says, "This was our first jam in the studio. It started with a bass line from a voice memo as I was diggin’ for some inspiration."
"Yeah, this was our first session and it came together super fast. Phill sang the bassline and doubled it with sub-bass. We had the hook and basic structure in less than an hour," adds Taylor Bense.
Life On Planets and Taylor Bense's new song "Glowstick" is out now via Kitsuné Musique. Stay tuned for more details on the new EP!
