Celebrating its 11th year, Lightning In a Bottle (LIB), located in Bradley, CA, has officially SOLD OUT! The camping, music, arts, and yoga festival which takes place over Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-30), has hit capacity selling 20,000 tickets—its largest event to date. Although 2-Day and 4-Day GA tickets are out of stock, hopeful attendees can still purchase 4-Day passes with the purchase of a Boutique Camping package. Those who have already purchased their Lightning In a Bottle tickets may still buy Lighting Bus tickets or Early Arrival Passes, which allows them entry to the festival a day early on Wednesday, May 25.

Organized by the Do LaB, Lightning In a Bottle, has been steadily growing since it began in 2005.  With the help of amazing publicity teams like The Confluence, the Do LaB has been taking the event to the next level year after year, ensuring patrons that every year at LIB is going to be the best event they’ve thrown to-date.  This year, marks the first year Lightning In a Bottle has sold out.

With three main stages (The Lightning, The Thunder, and The Woogie) and a huge variety of powerhouse acts, the LIB lineup is set to impress. Headliners include Chet Faker, Grimes, Moderat, Big Gigantic, Cashmere Cat, The Polish Ambassador and Four Tet. Joining the headliners is a group of extremely talented house and bass performers that includes Tokimonsta, Mija, Mr. Carmack, Autograf, Guy Gerber, &ME, Lane 8, Sacha Robotti, Eprom, Minnesota b2b G Jones, and Bleep Boop.

Lightning In a Bottle is about more than just the music. The magic of the festival comes from the extraordinarily creative stage setups, art instillations, over 300 classes and workshops, as well as, Go Green initiatives. Festival-goers are transported into weird and wonderful realms scattered among the LIB festival grounds. So, enlighten yourself and your crew by making it a point to check-out these cleverly created environments that consist of The Village, The Temple of Consciousness, The Learning Kitchen, The Grand Artique, Amori’s Casino & Burlesque, and, the Visionary Art Gallery.  As an added bonus for those with early arrival access, they will get to experience even MORE activities and micro-environments before the rest of the attendees arrive!

Among its other recycling and compost initiatives, Lightning in a Bottle 2016 has vowed to be a “pack-it-in, pack-it-out event” (aka “no trace left behind”); meaning, in an attempt to keep the festival grounds as clean as possible, guests are encouraged to take everything out of the event that they brought inside.  Furthermore, Do LaB and LIB will not be selling plastic water bottles, so bring your own reusable container!

Finally, before you head to the fest, make sure to familiarize yourself with the grounds and the set lists. Useful information like Do LaB’s “Thrive Guide,” camping information, maps, and set times can be found on their website or by clicking the links below.
