During September 10-13, tens of thousands gathered in Arrington, Virginia to a venue nestled in the mountains where Lockn’ Interlocking Music Festival took place. Although one of the days was cancelled due to weather, artists under the Lockn’ 2015 lineup stood strong like their fans and played some amazing music for those who stuck it out through the rain and mud. This year’s Lockn’ lineup featured Widespread Panic, Robert Plant,The String Cheese Incident, The Doobie Incident (SCI + The Doobie Brothers), The Doobie Brothers, all remaining members of Grateful Dead ; Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart (they did not play all together as The Dead in case you were wondering). Plus, Tedeschi Trucks Band (Susan Tedeschi + Derek Trucks of the Allman Brothers), Carlos Santana, Anders Osbourne, Jefferson Airplane, Gov’t Mule, Jimmy Cliff, John Popper, Umphrey’s McGee and many more. Quite the festival lineup, indeed!
