Looking Back at Euphoria Denali 2016 While Looking Forward to Euphoria Denali 2017 in Alaska

Just when we thought Austin’s Euphoria Festival couldn’t get any cooler, they made the brisk announcement that they are expanding the brand to Denali, Alaska. Just last month, Vivid Sound Entertaining presented music fans with a chance to celebrate the summer solstice with a mix of national and local acts including Muzzy Bearr, Blunt Force, Denali Cooks, Willgood, Jasper Chili, Rupert the Duke, Clark after Dark and many more at the first annual Euphoria Denali Music Festival.

Set just eight miles north of downtown Denali, attendees ages 21+ had the rare opportunity to party under the midnight sun for two thrilling days of camping, music and beer-focused workshops. Attendees were stoked that the sun never actually went down (22 hours of sunlight each day to be exact).

“We are constantly looking for ways in which to expand our message,” says festival producer Mitch Morales. “Euphoria Denali allows us that opportunity and with a community that is in step with our values.”

Pioneers of this first-time festival were able to snag two-day GA camping passes for only $35, with single day passes available for only $20. That’s less than you’ll pay for a foot-long at Subway up there (not really, but I spent some time in Denali National Park one summer, and the “$5 foot-long” straight up didn’t exist; it was at least $10, and that was in 2009). The first-ever Euphoria Denali went down McKinley RV Park and Campground, home of The 49th State Brewing Company.

With the success of one of the first-ever mainstream festival the Alaska has seen in some time, it’s no surprise that Euphoria Denali 2017 will be one for the books.  For more information, stayed tuned to Music Festival Central and/or visit the festival’s website by clicking the link below.
