As the springtime music festival lineups start to roll in and people start making their travel plans, one festival that should be on top of everyone’s list, McDowell Mountain Music Festival (MMMF) in Phoenix, Arizona, has just released their lineup! The McDowell Mountain 2015 lineup consists of Widespread Panic, Passion Pit, Thievery Corporation, Portugal. The Man, Break Science, Beats Antique, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Trampled by Turtles and more!
McDowell Mountain Music Festival 2015 is not only known for an amazing festival lineup, but the location and the vibes at McDowell Mountain are some of the best you can find when it comes to well-rounded music festivals. The weather in Phoenix during the festival’s three-day run is typically ideal, especially if you’re coming from place that has had a long, cold winter. McDowell Mountain 2015 is set to commence March 27-29 at Margaret T. Hance Park in the downtown area.
McDowell Mountain tickets are on-sale for a steal at around $120 for a three-day pass. Single-day tickets are priced around $45, while VIP passes are available for a mere $180.
In addition to amazing ticket prices, an incredible lineup, and a premier location, McDowell Mountain Music Festival is one of the only non-profit festivals out there. Proceeds from the festival will go to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation and the UMOM New Day Center, a center that helps the homeless with a safe place to stay and supportive services.
One of the main producers of the festival, John Largay, the President of Wespac Construction, stated: “This festival is a party for the people. It’s a community effort, engaging music enthusiasts to come out to enjoy an eclectic mix of talents and also to support notable charities in the Valley.”
Despite McDowell Mountain’s admirable quality of being 100% non-profit, festival coordinators have done a wonderful job bringing in such a fabulous lineup and combining it with unique festival amenities like having choice breweries like Deschutes come support the MMMF movement. A “Party for the People” is exactly what McDowell Mountain Music Festival is; everyone wins!
