McDowell Mountain Music Festival Begins One-Month Countdown

by on

In just under one month Arizona’s only 100% non-profit music festival, McDowell Mountain Music Festival, will go down in the books of festival history.   In addition to it being so unique by providing charities with the profits, the festival is set to host STS9’s (Sound Tribe Sector 9) first-ever performance without their original front man, David Murphy (aka Murph).

McDowell Mountain is also welcoming musical moguls Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, The Disco Biscuits, Dwight Yoakam, Slightly Stoopid and many more.   A slough of late-night shows featuring Allen Stone, ExMAG (Gramatik’s side project), Lettuce and others are scheduled to go down right after the festival to keep this year’s Party For The People rolling all night long!

On top of an epic lineup, the weather is known to be that of the best for the time of year in Phoenix.  Not too hot and not too cold equals perfect weather to rage in!

Tickets to all 3 days of mayhem on the mountains go for only $125, day passes start at just $40, and late-nights are low as $10.  All profits go to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and UMOM, a homeless shelter that specializes in keeping families together.
