Mipso, a quickly emerging indie-folk band is set to hit the road this winter/spring on an extensive headlining tour. The North Carolina based band has reached well deserved attention as their sophomore album Old Time Reverie, which was released in the fall of 2015, reached #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and top 25 of the Billboard Heatseakers chart.
With over 300 shows under their belt and the permanent addition of brilliant fiddler Libby Rodenbough, Mipso has gained a ton of momentum and is ready to share the stages with big bluegrass acts such as Del McCoury, Junior Brown, Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas at festivals with the likes of ROMP and Jam In The Trees. As heard throughout the entire list of tracks on Old Time Reverie, a perfectly blended balance of instruments and alluring mesh of vocals emanates a clean and soulful sound.
