ADE is officially old enough to drink legally in America! The 21st annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will commence this October 19th-23rd, across the city with some new additions to the festival-like music conference. The past 20 years has seen ADE develop into one of the most well known music events in the world; on top of that, the business aspect of the event is recognized as the most important of its kind.

A new addition unveiled at ADE 2016 will be the launch of ADE SLEEP/OVER, which is a new campsite at the NDSM Wharf (Nederlandsche Dok en Scheepsbouw Maatschappij Wharf) that features a range of special talks and performances for festival-goers. Besides a unique stay and meeting point, ADE’s sleepover will be a place to experience what the wild new ADE program has to offer. ADE SLEEP/OVER and the industrial backdrop of the NDSM Shipyard will play host to its very own program, including music events, artist talks and contemporary art installations.

The second wave of the ADE lineup was just released.  The announcement makes ADE the largest club-based electronic music event in the world. When it comes to a stacked festival lineup, the ADE 2016 lineup really doesn’t need to be specified, as pretty much everyone in the worlds of house and techno will be represented; but none-the-less, here is the new release:
