Art Basel Miami is on the horizon, which means so is Innervisions and Life and Death’s beach-side soiree Rakastella. Taking place on December 7 at the Historic Virginia Key Beach, the sixteen-hour marathon is hosting some of dance music’s finest artists.

German house innovator Motor City Drum Ensemble will make his much anticipated Miami debut at Rakastella, announced alongside Miami’s reigning electro king Danny Daze. Scottish DJ and River Rapid founder Eclair Fifi is set to bring her eclectic breaks to the decks, while phase four is capped off with Electric Pickle founder Will Renuart.

This kaleidoscope of talent joins an impressive bill. In less than 24 hours, party goers will be able to dance to a melangé of high calibur artists: Jayda G, Ben UFO, Dixon, Palms Trax, Âme’s Frank Weidemann, KiNK, Soul Clap, Aurora Halal, John Talabot, Öona Dahl, Mor Elian, Tara Brooks, Marie Davidson and DJ Minx.

A total immersion of the senses, Rakastella invites you to endeavour in an array of available amenities. Quench your thirst with the Hi-Fi Tea Garden curated by local Terrestrial Funks, where organic tea blends will be served alongside surprise vinyl sets fon a Danley sound system. The late Miami underground staple Electric Pickle will be uniting with Where Are My Keys for their very own Rakastella stage.
If you seek to indulge in the VIP experience, you’ll be privy to your own village, filled with lounges, complimentary massages, a private mixology bar and hors d’oeuvres served at sunset by renowned Miami chef Andres Garcia.
While the environmental movement has started to embed itself in the fabric of music event culture, the creators of Rakastella have made a point to void the event’s environmental impact on Virginia Key’s fragile ecosystem. Single-use plastics are banned from the 2019 party and beach cleanups will take place before and after the event.
Tickets are available here.
