Paxhau Events has announced the second and final phase of artists scheduled to perform at Movement Electronic Music Festival 2015 in Detroit, Michigan. Comprising the final wave of artists of Movement’s 10th edition are premier international and local DJ’s Maceo Plex, Lee Foss, Kerri Chandler, Classixx, Brodinski, Josh Wink and Joy Orbison. Also, Kevin Saunderson will reprise his ORIGINS showcase after a much-celebrated appearance in 2014 at the festival’s Made in Detroit stage.
Along with the impressive DJ additions, the final phase of the Movement lineup announcement features several stellar acts slated to perform live sets, including Squarepusher, !!!, Juan Atkins (as Model 500) and PHUTURE. Rounding out the final artist list are notable hip hop artists including Method Man and the up-and-coming Hudson Mohawke.
Another significant facet of the announcement is the news of a curated stage from British electronic duo Disclosure, who will bring their “Wild Life” showcase to Movement on Saturday, May 23rd. Other day long showcases will spotlight local acts from the Ghostly International record label and Konkrete Jungle Detroit.
The second phase of artists joins previously announced renowned performers Dog Blood (Skrillex & Boys Noize), DJ Snoopadelic, Richie Hawtin, Art Department, Seth Troxler & Martinez Brothers (Tuskegee), Loco Dice, Ben Klock, Nina Kraviz, Stacy Pullen, Luciano, Dubfire & Hot Since 82 and many more.
Movement Electronic Music Festival is the world’s consummate electronic music event and will take place May 23, 24 and 25, 2015 in Detroit, Michigan’s Hart Plaza.
