Over Memorial Day weekend 2015, something magical took place in the city of Detroit–that magic I’m referring to none other than, Movement Detroit (also know as Movement Electronic Music Festival). Movement Detroit evolved from the infamous electronic music festival called DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival). Since last year, both Movement Detroit, and the house music scene in general, have grown in ways people could have never imagined. Music Festival Central photographer, Daniel Peterson, was on-site at Hart Plaza in the city’s downtown area during May 23rd – 25th to document Movement Detroit’s most successful chapter in the festival’s history.
