Music Festival Preview : Kraak & Smaak Take To Chicago’s Open Water For An Electric Extravaganza

by on

Looking for a great way to kick off your Chicago summer?!  Look no further because this Saturday, June 21st event organizers SinLabel, Primary, and Chiil Productions will join together to help host the first of many installments of 2014’s Shipwrecked Yacht Party Series taking place on Lake Michigan all summer long.  Rising super producers, Kraak & Smaak from the Netherlands are set to be the first of many big names that will play the over-water concert series.

In addition to Kraak and Smaak, local DJ/producers Kody Madro and Derek Specs will join the Dutch trio aboard the 150-foot yacht to showcase their skills on the open water as well.

Sailed by the Anita Dee Yacht Charters, guests will be in good hands as they set sail on Lake Michigan to listen to mad beats and see unique skyline views that can only be seen from the far out off Chicago’s shoreline.  The yacht selected for the memorable moment is the Anita Dee II, a giant ship that hosts nearly 350 people.  Although 350 people is a lot for a venue that floats atop the water, the boat is spacious enough for guests to move around freely to dance the day away.

Tickets to the Shipwrecked Yacht Party that is sure kick off Chicago’s summer with a WOMP are still available.  If you want to save some cash, make sure you look into pre-sale tickets as soon as possible while they still last.
