The good people behind Mysteryland USA have done an excellent job of cultivating one of the most unique camping experiences a festival has to offer for their inaugural year. This May 23rd – 26th, the original Woodstock 69′ festival grounds in Bethel Woods, New York will be turned into a mecca of beats, tents, smoke & lasers, as Tomorrowland’s distant festival relative goes down with a womp!
Appropriately dubbed the Holy Grounds, this campsite will be in the exact location where festival-goers camped to witness greats like The Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, The Band and a laundry list of other music icons as they took the stages at the original Woodstock music festival almost 50 years ago.
This year the famous festival grounds will welcome digital icons Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero, Paper Diamond, Moby, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus (both Dillon and Floss will unite to form “Dillstradamus”) and many more! Performers will play on several different stages to keep the festival’s flow fluid as ragers dance from stage to stage.
As far as camping and tickets go, there are a vast amount of options for attending Mysteryland USA 2014. Space in the Holy Grounds has sold out, however, there are still a bunch of options, including spots at Lander’s River Camping where patrons can enjoy quality riverfront camping. For those who want to travel light, Mysteryland even offers campers a convenient Festival Survival Kit (book yours while supplies last!) which includes a tent, 2 sleeping bags, and 2 air mattresses for optimum comfort. You even get to bring the camping memorabilia home with you!
Lockers with charging stations brought to you by Prrrly Bird, will also be available so you won’t miss any photo opps at the Memorial Day weekend celebration of the century! Keep in mind that if you’re driving, you’ll need to purchase a parking pass for the weekend.
