In 1969, over 1 million people attended the world famous Woodstock music festival that commenced in Bethel Woods, New York. The festival started a new revolution of musical celebrations. Fast-forward about 50 years, another music festival that is reaching new heights, Mysteryland, is making the sacred land a home this May 23-26.
Just the mere thought of being able to get down at the same place as legendary icons like Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, The Who, Richie Havens, Janis Joplin, The Who and a boat load more, bring quivers to my spine. Of course music has changed nearly a half a century later, however, the performers set to take the stages where Woodstock 69’ went down are icons that will always live in the electronic realm.
The people behind Mysteryland are no strangers to bringing crowd pleasers to their events because they have been doing it across seas for years. This year’s Mysteryland US will feature 200 + artists on a slough of different stages. Current headlining acts include Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Fedde Le Grand, NERVO, Dillon Francis, Dubfire, Nicky Romero, Moby, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Flosstradamus, Paper Diamond, Big Gigantic and more.
Phase 2 of tickets to this ground-breaking experience go ON SALE TUESDAY, MARCH 11 at 10AM (EST) can be found on Mysterland’s website. One thing to keep in mind is camping on the Holy Ground (actual Woodstock grounds) will be extremely limited. Festival attendees can arrive as early as May 23 to setup camp and enjoy Nicky Romero’s pre-party. If you want to be a part of something historical this Memorial Day weekend, jump on getting your tickets right away. One thing that isn’t a mystery about Mysterland USA, is tickets will be in popular demand to say the least.
