This Friday, March 28th, the soulful producer and DJ, Nightmares on Wax, will be gracing Chicago’s own The Mid with his funk filled presence. The last time Nightmares on Wax came through Chicago, he played a fully packed show at Lincoln Hall, accompanied by a full band and a female vocalist; a beautiful assimilation between DJ, producer and live instrumentalists.
During this occasion he is likely be by himself throwing down a for sure to be memorable DJ set at The Mid. Attendees should expect some sweet surprises in the evening. George Evelyn (aka Nightmares on Wax) is known for more than his ability to spin records and he is sure to have something hidden up his sleeve to turn the dance floor into somewhat of a Soul Train get down.
The evening will also include appearances by Radius, DJ Trew, Striz, and the resident mixologist, ZEBO. VIP tickets for the fun filled evening start a reasonable $12. It is suggested that you get there early because the line is sure to be long, and knowing Chicago there could be a wind factor to deal with.
