Last Friday night was an electro dance party at the Concord Music Hall in Chicago. Two local tributes threw down for a high energy party to feed many fans still hungry after the North Coast Music Festival. The frontrunners in the night were Chicago locals North American Scum. This LCD Soundsystem tribute band is comprised of members from Turbo Suit, Digital Tape Machine and Spare Parts. All of whom have a solid Chicago following making for a great way to bring the crowd in early.
The second round of music kept fans dancing heavy as another Chicago local band Future Rock played as Daft Rock performing a choice selection of Daft Punk covers. This was also recently done by the band celebrating their 10th year at Summer Camp Music Festival. Future Rock is high energy electronic rock and seemlessly busted out the Daft Punk into the wee hours of the night. It was an awesome way to close out the night of one of the city’s biggest weekends.
MFC Photographer Daniel Peterson was there to capture the night an presents to you these sick shots to reflect on if you were there to enjoy the show.
