Labor Day weekend is just around the corner, and while everyone scrambles around to make the perfect set of plans for the holiday weekend, Chicago has saved the best for last. This particular holiday weekend only means one thing to Chicago festivalgoers: it’s time for North Coast Music Festival!
In only it’s fourth year running, North Coast has gripped Chicago music lovers for life by offering a lavish amount of big-name artists and end-of-summer vibes that are only felt at the fest. The annual festival will be held at Union Park on August 31st – September 2nd and is planned to draw record crowds.
Over 80 artists will be featured amongst the five different stages inside the park. Talk about variety of genres, North Coast brings you the perfect blend of jam, electronic, trap, rock, hip-hop, and house. Some of this year’s headliners include Big Gigantic, Wu Tang Clan, Passion Pit, Mac Miller, The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Rebelution and more.

The hand picked vendors are something to defiantly check out as well, from the food to the apparel, you’ll have a wide variety of goodies to choose from so it doesn’t hurt to bring some extra cash. In-between sets, don’t forget checkout the Reader Live Art Gallery located on the baseball diamond in the middle of the festival.
This year the festival promoters, React Presents and SIlver Wrapper, are teaming up with EVNTLIVE to stream some of the performances online to unleash the end-of-summer bash all over the world. So hold those rave sticks high this weekend and mark in the park and online!

If so, then make sure to keep the party going in style by attending one of the many different after shows each night at Chicago’s brand new venue, the Concord Music Hall.
