Northern Nights Music Festival (NNMF 2016) is back again and ready to top the last four years of the festival’s history when it comes to all around fun and wild festivities. Located in the stunning Cooks Valley Campground (Mendocino-Humboldt County Line) nestled within the California Redwoods, and returning during summer’s prime this July 15-17, Northern Nights 2016 is bound to knock your socks off.
Comprised of a wide range of must-see artists, the full Northern Nights lineup has been announced and it looks as stellar as ever. Headlining artists include Gorgon City, Amon Tobin, GRiZ, and The Knocks. The weekend will wrap up with performances by Claptone’s “Immortal Live” performance, accompanied by trap producer Troyboi and Boots Riley, leader of the funk band, The Coup. Other artists on the docket will include: SNBRN, Machinedrum, XYLØ, Stephen, NoMBE, Prince Fox, MoonzZ, Slumberjack, Daktyl, D∆WN, Teklife, Sugarbeats, Govinda & Lafa Taylor, Beautiful Machines, Horses Heaven, Deejay Theory, Yungg Trip, Subsuelo and Pressure Anya.
The music acts will be made even better thanks to the sound magic of VOID Acoustics, which will be used at all four stages, including the silent disco put on by Hush Concerts. At Northern Nights, the fun does not stop at just music! While in attendance, the South Fork Eel River will act as an aquatic highway for you to idly lounge on your floats, plus, you can take advantage an array of other activities like doing yoga in the redwoods, gazing at eye-teasing art installations, and, wait for it—you can take hot cedar showers.
