by on

For the third consecutive year, TV Lounge in Detroit, Michigan will be transformed on Sunday, May 24th into the freshest afterhours location in the Motor City, as “OK Cool!” returns for another stellar edition. The talent assembled for this year’s lengthy event is top notch, featuring the hometown hero Seth Troxler as headliner, along with a cast of other notables. German techno icon Move D will dig deep into his collection to perform an exclusive Movement Detroit weekend DJ set, fantastic news for anyone who witnessed his standout performance at Movement Detroit in 2014. Life and Death record label founder DJ Tennis is also scheduled to perform, along with Doc Martin, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts (live) and Trouw resident Tom Trago.

Beginning at 9:00 pm and lasting well into the early morning sunrise, OK Cool! will keep the party going all night long throughout the various rooms and outdoor spaces at TV Lounge.  Rounding out the stacked lineup are OK Cool! mainstays Eddie C and Detroit’s own Rick Wade, party founder Dax Lee and host TV Bar Resident DJs, ATAXIA & My Baby’s Mr. Joshooa. Making their initial appearances this year are Sevron from Chicago’s Smartbar, Navbox from Flash D.C. and Andrew Vogt from Verboten in Brooklyn.

In addition to the musical talent, there will be plenty of other entertainment and surprises to keep spirits high and the vibes good. The purpose of the OK Cool! series of events is to create a space where fans, artists and musicians alike can come together to celebrate music and dance presented with world class production, including a brand new sound system presented by Audio Rescue Team. OK Cool! is a combined effort through Dax Lee of Dax Presents based in San Francisco, and the Detroit based My Baby crew, made up of Josh Guerin, Ted Krisko and Eric Ricker.
