You really can't beat a good births festival and that's exactly what One Out managed to pull off in their first year in 2021. This year, with less Covid worries, they really upped the game and set a new benchmark in mid-June.
It all went down in Surrey in the picturesque setting of Apps Court Farm. A lush location with a natural feeling, ancient trees, chidden lakes and rolling fields, it became a magnificent adult playground for this memorable festival.
Making it so was the organisation, which was spot on - easy to get in , eat to get drinks, everything you could hope for. The people too were lovely, all of them music heads who really got involved for the start Andrade for special atmospheres in each tent.
There were four in all, with the main stage of course being the most high energy, with blasts of smoke, loud beats and high thrills a plenty. There were plenty of standout performances from the house head like jasper James, DJ Seinfeld and Skream who dropped plenty of massive bangers, to pop stars like Jess Bays and the always good for a laugh Menedez Brothers who kept it funky.
For those who like to treat themselves, there was also new for this year the VIP Stage & Secret Stage. The former was heavy on the disco with Kimono Bros hosting, a private bar, full disco production and plenty of razzmatazz.
This was a superb festival not far from the capital and one full of musial thrills and spills matter your own personal favourite genres. We shall deffo be back next year.
