The Floridian music festival known as Purple Hatter’s Ball, named in the memory of Rachel Morningstar Hoffman (who typically wore a purple hat), after she was killed in an sting operation lead by local and government law officials on May 7th, 2008, has just released the first wave of artists to play this year’s festival. Artists included thus far in the Purple Hatter’s Ball lineup include The Polish Ambassador, Popadosio, The Floozies, Dub Conscious, Roosevelt Collier Band, The Mantras and many more. Additional names will be added to the Purple Hatter’s lineup soon, so stay tuned for more details!
Purple Hatter’s Ball is set to be held at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida this June 17-19. An extremely limited amount of early bird tickets will be on sale for a mere $89 on Tuesday, March 1st at 12PM (EST). Tickets include general camping and 4 days of music. If you’re interested in taking advantage of everything the festival and its unique venue have to offer, jump on tickets soon because exclusive packages may go quick. VIP upgrades and a new package that includes a music and a cabin for 4, equipped with a personal golf cart, is going for $575, but well worth it to live like the king and/or queen of the festival.
