One of the biggest desert parties, Further Future, has just announced phase 2 of the Further Future 002 lineup. Artists added to the Further Future lineup include Nicolas Jaar, DJ Tennis, Four Tet, Easy Star All-Stars, Kid Koala, Crazy P, For Romeau, Andy Stott, Terry Francis, Tropic of Cancer, Jon Wander, Low Leaf, Papercutz and many more. Phase 2 artists will join the already-stacked list of talent that features Chicago native Derrick Carter, UK bass-crusher Dixon, Daedelus, Birds of Passage, Voices From The Lake, Jam City and a whole lot more.
Further Future is not only dedicated to bringing the heat when it comes to music and weather to the desert, but the festival is also responsible for bringing creative minds in the fields of art, science, technology, and innovation, to the desert for attendees to learn from. Workshops will be available for those who’d like to leave with more than just a music festival wristband and a t-shirt. These workshops will provide knowledge about the many facets that thrive both within music festivals and the outside world.
In case you’re wondering if Further Future is invite-only like last year, the answer is NO! Robot Heart, the creator of Further Future, has made the event open to the public this time around. Further Future tickets can be purchased through the festival’s website for around $300. Further Future 2016, Beyond Vegas, is set to commence April 29th – May 1st in the Mojave Desert, just a bit outside Las Vegas, Nevada.
