New York’s Electric Zoo is looking forward to getting weird with all of this year’s festival animals for their 5th Anniversary! This August 30 – September 1, the festival will be offering 5 stages, more than 125 artists, and a full 3 days of non-stop music! Not to mention all of the artists and shows will be broadcasted over Sirius XM radio! Electric Zoo is awaiting Labor Day weekend to get wild, so be sure to get your tickets now and be prepared for the electric stampede that is Electric Zoo!
Electric Zoo’s artist lineup is ideal; with Tiësto, Avicii, Bassnectar, Benny Benassi, Hardwell, Krewella, A-Trak, Steve Aoki and Sander van Doorn, everyone is going to be dancing like animals. When it comes to the stomping grounds at Randall’s Island Park, the 24 acres will transform into a full-blown dance party.
As an extra bonus, Electric Zoo will be airing live performances every Friday (1pm) and Monday (4pm) through Sirius XM radio. Some of the artists you can enjoy over the radio waves include: Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Steve Aoki, Fedde Le Grand, Ferry Corsten, Dada Life, Dannic, Dyro, Hardwell, Tritonal, W&W and many others. In addition to performances, they will have live interviews, chats, and other special updates so we can all get connected to the performers and the scene.
“The launch of Electric Zoo Radio and our upcoming live broadcasts from this year’s Electric Zoo Festival continues our commitment to broadcasting the best electronic dance music from the world’s top DJs for our subscribers,” said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM. “SiriusXM has established itself as the leading broadcaster of EDM across multiple satellite and online channels and we are looking forward to bringing this year’s Electric Zoo Festival to our millions of subscribers across the country.”
