This Friday, May 2nd, the world famous psychedelic and innovative artist, Alex Grey, will be gracing the Alhambra Palace in Chicago with his presence and a live performance like no other. Accompanying him will be his wife, Allyson, a team of visual/video gurus from RadioeditAV, and a crew of talented musicians from Pretty Lights Music.
Representing PLM is founding member Michal Menert, as well as PhuturePrimitive, ESKMO, Paul Basic, Late Night Radio, and Chicago’s own Psydell. These talented DJs/producers will combine their skills with Alex’s to create a psychedelic spectacle that are sure to put attendees in awe. The good people at RadioeditAV will help put this rare visual and auditory collaboration between Alex, another talented artist, Jonathan Singer, and the musicians, into orbit.
Collaborations of this nature are few and far between, especially at such an intimate venue like the Alhambra Palace. Chicago’s Alhambra Palace is inspired by the original fortress in Spain that was built for the likes of Muslim royalty. The Alhambra is a prime example of historical Moorish architecture and is sure to have attendees blown away by the detail, as the original structure was decorated inch by inch, leaving no corner untouched.
As you can imagine, tickets are moving fast due to the limited capacity of the venue. For those who are interested in taking full advantage of Alex’s visit to Chicago, VIP tickets that include an early evening dinner with Alex are available for only $100. If the unique opportunity to have dinner with Alex wasn’t enough of a thrill already, event organizers arranged for Michal Menert to cater the dinner!
