Bass fans rejoice! Safe In Sound Festival, the bass-heavy music festival put on by Rockstar Energy Drinks that created some huge waves across 20 cities in the US last year, is set to make a return touring North America with over 25 shows stemming from September 3rd to October 25th. With a blend of massive bass-heavy artists and a 150,000 watt PK Sound system, Safe In Sound will make you feel the ponding in your chest, a rumble underneath your feet, and turn even the most veteran bass lover’s ears into mush.
Headliners of the Safe In Sound lineup that will be there most of the way include Bro Safari, whose production work spans the entire spectrum of bass music, Datsik, one of the best dubstep artists who had over 7 number one releases on Beatport in 2009 alone, and Zomboy, whose debut EP on Never Say Die Records smashed the Beatport charts and was in the top 5 releases of dubstep music for over 8 weeks. A supporting cast that includes 12th Planet, Nero, Excision, Delta Heavy, Figure, Terravita, and Flux Pavilion will join those three. Safe In Sound is teaming up with PK Sound, who already renowned for providing monster systems for Skrillex’s FullFlex Express Tour, Excision’s Executioner Tour and Shambhala Music Festival, and has set a new benchmark for the industry. Featuring a 150,000-watt wall of bass, PK Sound promises to have built the most powerful touring sound system ever used for an EDM tour.
