This year’s Hangout Music Festival lineup, which was already charmed with two 2015 Grammy Award winners- Beck (Best Rock Album) and Paramore (Best Rock Song), has just been magnified by the addition of four time Grammy winner Sam Smith. This infamous party on the beach just keeps sounding better and better.
After the recent announcement of the joint venture between Hangout and Goldenvoice (The company that brings you festivals such as Coachella, Stagecoach, FYF and Firefly), one could only expect that things would be brought to a new level. The partnership seems promising in that it will give The Hangout the resources to bring in bigger artists, improve the venue and enhance the over all experience. The festival has a reputation of being one of the best beach parties in the world and that does not seem to be changing at all.
Also joining the beach bash in Gulf Shores, Alabama this May will be Foo Fighters, Skrillex, Father John Misty, Umphrey’s McGee, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Beats Antique, Gramatik, Phantogram, Adventure Club and more!
